# Nose for Leads > Verified local-business lead generation. Every delivered lead carries a > verification receipt showing its email was checked against the live mailbox > provider before delivery. Nose for Leads runs local-business lead campaigns (for example "plumbers in Phoenix with no website") and validates each lead's email in real time. It is built for agencies, SDRs, and founder-led sales teams, and for both people and AI agents: connect over MCP, submit a campaign, and pull back a list with proof behind each row. ## For agents - MCP endpoint: `https://api.noseforleads.com/mcp` (streamable HTTP transport, auth required) - Claude Code (recommended): run these two commands once, then it's connected for good. ``` claude mcp add --transport http nose-for-leads https://api.noseforleads.com/mcp claude mcp login nose-for-leads ``` `login` opens your browser to approve access and set a spending budget. No client id or secret to paste. The token persists across sessions and refreshes itself. (These need the standalone CLI. In the VS Code extension or desktop app there is no `claude` binary — use the `.mcp.json` team-setup shape below in your project root instead; it triggers the same browser consent.) - Codex CLI: add to `~/.codex/config.toml`, then `codex mcp login nose-for-leads`. ```toml [mcp_servers.nose-for-leads] url = "https://api.noseforleads.com/mcp" ``` - Cursor, Windsurf, and other MCP clients: the `.mcp.json` shape below works wherever the client reads HTTP server config; the API-key header form works everywhere else. - Alternative: an API key header, `X-API-Key: ` (or `Authorization: Bearer `), for scripts, CI, or clients without OAuth. Mint one from the Keys page at https://app.noseforleads.com/keys; keys can carry a total and/or daily credit budget cap. A key minted with no budget can spend the whole account balance — give agent keys at least a daily cap. - Team setup: commit a `.mcp.json` so teammates get the server on clone. ```json { "mcpServers": { "nose-for-leads": { "type": "http", "url": "https://api.noseforleads.com/mcp" } } } ``` - Sign up: https://app.noseforleads.com/signup - Full tool reference and error codes: [/agents.md](/agents.md) - OpenAPI schema (no credential needed to fetch): https://api.noseforleads.com/openapi.json ## Pricing 1 credit = 1 validated lead. 25 free leads at signup.
